Travelogue:Tour De Aurangabad....

Traveling is one of my interests. From long time I am planning to post an article about a travelogue. Off late I have been to Aurangabad, to cover Bibi Ka Maqbara (aka Replica of Taj), Ajanta, and Ellora Caves. With this tour I have covered all the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Maharashtra.

Ajanta Caves are rock-cut cave monuments dating from the second century BCE, containing paintings and sculpture considered to be masterpieces of both "Buddhist religious art" and "universal pictorial art". My friend tried to capture beauty of Ajanta and Ellora in the below clips.

At Ellora Caves temples and monasteries were built between the 5th century and 10th century. The 12 Budhist (caves 1-12), 17 Hindu (caves 13-29) and 5 jain (caev 30-34) caves, bulit in proximity, demonstrate the religious harmony prevalent during this period of Indian History.

P.S.: Uploading the videos to blogger is a nice learning experience. And its funny to watch myself from behind.
